We can offer IVA (individual vehicle approval test) help on request. From advice to pre-test checks, whilst we cannot guarantee a pass, we can make it a lot more likely simply because we are at the test station talking to the VOSA team on a regular basis and are aware of the updates and pitfalls.

Entry Level Striker Performance

Whether you choose the Striker, Phoenix or Fulcrum kit car you are assured at entry level of a very exciting drive. Not only is the handling of Raw cars second to none, but the light weight construction makes them capable of accelerating very quickly, for example:

Raw Striker track day carBase kits and cars are generally fitted with 150BHP engines.

This produces a power to weight ratio of around 250+ BHP Per Ton.

With a 0 – 60 MPH time of around 4.5 Seconds

Upgrade Packs Can Be Applied to enhance striker performance…

Engine options are available in increments to suit budget and needs.
While the base kit car develops around 150BHP, the engines can be upgraded to:

Striker by Raw Engineering, for road, track and race

170 – 200BHP can be achieved using a multi throttle body inlet setup giving instant engine response and an increased power band.

220BHP can be achieved with a supercharger unit. This gives a very smooth power delivery and high torque output.

Up to 330 BHP can be achieved with factory engines, which makes for 550 BHP per Ton. We like to think this is enough for anyone and in the right hands will keep up with almost anything on the road and track.

Lowered STRIKER TR

lowered race striker chassis

In 2004 Raw developed a bespoke lowered chassis for the STRIKER. Driven by Andy Charsley in the 750 MC RGB class A series, this STRIKER became very successful on the track. With six outright wins and a close second in all other races against a rear engine enclosed body car it proved the STRIKER’s dynamic ability, durability and reliability.

Raw have now started production of this lowered chassis under the name of STRIKER TR. The first production model out this year driven by Gary Goodyear broke the 750 MC kit car lap record on its debut at Brands Hatch this year further proving its undoubted capability.

Further STRIKERs will be out this year including this one in the picture designed for sprint hill climb. It will have an Extreme 240 BHP Hayabusa engine with a multi-ratio Muffett differential on slicks, and it is hoped to have its debut in June this year by Mr Geoff Mason in the Westfield Speed series.

We hope this car will further strengthen the STRIKERs grip on the series as Mr Guy Hussey won it outright in 2005. We hope to continue to win even though only two STRIKERs will be allowed in the series!

The STRIKER TR can be produced for any race requirement.
